Liewood was founded in the summer of 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Norvig with the aim of creating a unique children's interior concept focusing on functionality, fine lines and simple details. Anne Marie has 15 years of experience in the fashion industry with design. Liewood's DNA is the result of Anne Marie's passion for design, aesthetics and belief that beauty lies in the details. As a mother of young children, Anne Marie is attuned to the needs of a modern family. Liewood creates irresistible products for the modern family, from organic textiles to soft knitwear. Together the products create a unique universe, pure and simple, and are the result of an all-round understanding of the overall design process. Liewood is based in Copenhagen and their universe is deeply rooted in the Nordic design tradition. Their ambition is to support slow living, creating products that last for generations, thus creating conceptually strong products that respect the tenderness of childhood and the lifestyle of modern families.
